Voice speed

I usually listen at speed 2.0…the app keeps randomly speeding up well past that speed. The only way to get it to stop is to close the app and re-open…help?

Odd glitches.

For books with unique section dividers such as a line of asterisks, it stops reading and I have to keep selecting pay again. Other times it seems to lose its place altogether and go back to repeating earlier text. And, in books with footnote numbers in the text, it reads the numbers making it difficult to follow. My device is a Samsung S10e. Thanks.

Is a WiFi or cell connection required?

I use this app while driving and sometimes I’ll be driving in areas with poor or no cell reception at all then I the app just stops and spins like it’s trying to load more data.

Teach not to read symbols as text

When it's reading to me it reads the symbols out as spoken text. It too, me a bit to figure out what was going on because I was doing other things. For example you come to the end of a line and the last word doesn't all fit so you put a - the system reads it outlook as dash. It also was reading one of my book series and saying the period at the end of the sentence as something else. If a book as a chapter that begins with a larger letter 1st as some authors do it reads that as a stand alone letter then the rest of the word it's kind of funny. There are some mispronounced words as time goes on but like I've been telling people for the price and it's a brand new app it's gonna have some kinks it needs to work thru. But just for entertainment have it say home, some, wound I promise you'll laugh too.

Improve voice audio

I would love it if you were able to work on your voices. It’s very very obvious that it is AI and some words are mispronounced and there’s no context or cadence. This is a great app, but you really need to improve the voice quality. I also have.Peech and their voices used for audio are much much better.

PDF reads

It would be great to be able to directly open and read a PDF or text file or just a pasted text, instead of needing to load that into Kindle first.

Different male voice options

Hi, it would be nice to have more baritone or bass voices available. They tend to sound less AI and it seems more prefer a deeper male voice than tenor.

Need to create more urban voices. Possibly with deep a d sultry voices

Needs to be able to toggle a couple voices so listening to dual narration is easier

A toggle button for like to voices and a way to favorite voices or star them would be so helpful. I like having a female voice and male voice for my dual narration books. To would be soooo much smoother to have a toggle button for like two voices of your choice. So like A and B, male / female whatever , which you chose before hand, then when the chapters change going to the other person, I can just click the toggle button on my page to the other voice. All the app would need to do is download the book in both voices ahead of time so switching is quick and simple. As of right now I have to go back to home screen, go to default voice and then try to remember which one I liked for the second voice. Yes the recent voices is nice but it would be very handy if I could also favourite like my top ten or even four ahead of time. Then also place one voice in the voice “A” selection and another in the “B” selection. I know there is a dual voice thing but it's for quotation words and that would work since it would still not be the right voice for the dialogue per say. This would go along way towards me wanting to pay for a subscription.

It would be great if the user could teach this AI to pronounce names commonly used in the books being read.commonly

when their is quote from the female character it should be in female voice and when it a men is talking it should be a man talking.

Pronunciation Fixes

I like the app. I have listened to 35 books in the last 6 weeks. You have trouble with words ending in e - like time. You also have trouble with Roman Numerals in Names. — Teach this app how to correctly pronounce resume

Filtering books in library

I used samples to relate on books I wish to read in Kindle app but it makes finding a unlimited and purchased books in the library listing. Is there a possibility of adding a filter option for the library area so the user can decide between all books in library as is with unlimited, purchased, and samples checking the listing desired?

I love this app SO much - but it keeps losing my place and not syncing right. I've listened to the same pages numerous times. If I get the paid version will that fix it or does anyone have a solution?

CarPlay?

I love this app! It’s the best cheapest option for kindle to audio. The only thing missing is a CarPlay connection.

Latest update broke the app

The newest update broke the app. Please fix it or revert back. The app just plays one page over and over it will get the and then start back at the top of the page again.

I have been enjoying this all. But now it just freezes when opened and trying to pick a Kindle

book. May have to delete if this continues.
